Bill Hineline
Founder, High Signal Advisory

I started my career as a field technician and spent the next three decades working my way through every layer of enterprise technology, from hands-on support to leading large, global organizations. Along the way I built a reputation for a pragmatic approach to hard problems, a leadership style that is direct without being dismissive, and an ability to bring cross-functional teams together around a shared outcome even when the politics say otherwise.

More recently, I was Field CTO at Chronosphere, a high-growth observability startup, through its acquisition by Palo Alto Networks. That experience put me on the other side of the table, understanding what it takes for a startup to earn enterprise trust, not just win a deal.

High Signal Advisory is built on both of those experiences. The practice is new. The pattern recognition isn’t.
